Artia Analytics was present at the BASQUE INDUSTRY4.0 event – the meeting point 2017.

The congress began with the presentation of the Basque INDUSTRY 4.0 strategy by the Basque Government and how the companies of reference in the industry and more transversal services such as logistics, are implementing the new trends of advanced manufacturing. During the course of the event use cases were presented on the implementation of innovative technologies and how they improve the competitiveness of industrial companies, through the automation and digitalization of processes in different sectors such as machine tools, automotive or aeronautics.

Related to new models of public-private collaboration, the BASQUE DIGITAL INNOVATION HUB initiative was presented as a market place to connect access to assets, innovation and capabilities in Advanced Manufacturing, in addition connecting different actors, with the aim to promote the generation of talent around advanced manufacturing and promote the identification and promotion of new business models. New business models design is the core of services where the firm Artia has been working during last years, developing reference cases for industrial companies, launching new business.

The industrial companies pointed out the importance of the strategy definition at the early stage related to industry 4.0 for better design of new products and services in order  to be success with the creation of new business models and improve the competitiveness of the industry.

Since 2015, Artia has been creating new value propositions and to accompany in their business development through processes of diversification and transformation of industrial enterprises. According to its founder Jon Murcia, ” Now we are developing new service models based on the provision of data as a service in cloud platforms, implementing data analysis techniques and digitalizing transversal processes such as logistics, connecting actors and processes along the supply chain”.

The participation of the Artia Firm in the event has focused on identifying collaborations with different actors; technology providers, collaborative initiatives and industrial companies, in order to implement new capabilities and technology for the creation of services and business models in ongoing projects with industrial companies.
